Ann

Maryland

After serving Washington, DC inner-city students as an elementary school program director, Ann brought her passion for education home and has been a devoted home educator for 10 years. Her degree in American Studies from Providence College focused on the American imagination portrayed in literature, theater, and film. She has taught elementary, middle, and high school level classes at home and in area school programs. In addition to leading weekly group classes for elementary aged students, Ann also enjoys leading character education seminars and looks forward to the shared laughs and insights with her friends in their monthly book club that has been going strong for twelve years.

Ann is clever at finding date night opportunities every week with her handsome husband. They celebrate 14 years of marriage and make a great team, encouraging their six children to choose the true, the good, the beautiful, and the best dance party songs.
