Executive Director

As Executive Director of CanaVox, April is responsible for managing all aspects of CanaVox’s reading group program, as well as creating and implementing new opportunities to move our organization into the future. She ensures that the many functioning parts of our group are operating in harmony to better accomplish our mission.

Prior to joining CanaVox in September 2014, April worked as an attorney in New York, where she focused on International Litigation. A native of New Jersey, she earned a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Communications from Boston University, where she also developed an unrelenting passion for the Red Sox. After earning her law degree at Tulane Law School, April spent eight years working in the federal courts in New Orleans before moving back to the Northeast. She currently resides in central New Jersey with her husband, her three energetic young children and one boisterous yellow lab named Daisy.
